Clinical traineeship and practical year

If you are interested in a clinical traineeship or would like to complete a tertial of your practical year at our clinic, we would be delighted to receive your application at christina.glombik@mri.tum.de. Please send us

  • the period in which you would like to come
  • Your preferred ward or outpatient clinic
  • Your curriculum vitae
  • your certificate of enrollment
  • proof that you have liability insurance
  • a medical certificate stating that you are allowed to work in a clinic

You will of course receive a welcome package with meal vouchers and documents from the teaching secretariat. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to offer accommodation or financial support.

Applicants who do not come from an EU country must contact the Erasmus office in parallel: international.mec.med@tum.de. Please understand that we can only consider applications if you can stay for at least four weeks and your German language level is B2.

Further training for doctors

We enable further training to become a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy in accordance with the current further training regulations.

Training and further education for psychotherapists

Compulsory internship in psychology

We would like to point out that completion of professional qualifying activity III (BQT III) is not offered. Internships lasting four to eight weeks are possible with us. Psychotherapists in training (PiAs)

We offer internships as part of the training to become a psychotherapist (m/f/d) at our clinic. In accordance with the Training Examination Ordinance (PsychTh-AprV), we are authorized for PT 1 Psychiatry (600 hours) and PT2 (600 hours) Psychosomatics. In the outpatient, day clinic or inpatient area, you can gain a lot of experience in the treatment of patients with various psychiatric disorders. Our focus of psychotherapeutic treatment is on behavioral therapy. We attach great importance to a pleasant working and learning atmosphere.
